On the 13th day of Christmas...

Today Surviving the Golden Age is setting a new precedent today. There has never beena 13th day of Christmas! Okay, I'm probably exaggerating. I'm pretty sure Fox Family does the 25 days of Christmas too. But c'mon, give me a break. Today we have another Christmas treat. In 1999, ska band MU330 released Winter Wonderland via Asian Man Records. My personal favorite cut from that album was their cover of "Angels We Have Heard on High". Dan Potthast gruff vocal style makes the song. Enjoy!

the 13th day of Christmas according to the Icelanders

6. of january is a day that we call the thirteenth. Because that is the thirteenh day of Christmas. On that day we say good by to the Christmas. It all starts with a flarewalk. In that flarewalk there are an elfqueen and an elfking when the flarewalk is half way through then the 13 Santa Clauses join the flarewalk. The flarewalk ends at a big bonfire then all the folks shoot a fire-works up in the air and everybody enjoy them selvs.

Ps: more information on what is called "Bonfire Day" from Icelanders.

Although this is the only holiday we have in these two months we like to tell you about other days , which we celebrate although every one has to go to work these days. The 6th of January we have another "bonfireday" with firecrackers and bonfires. Then we are saying good bye to Christmas and the last one of our 13 Santas. They all live in the mountains and are visiting us before Christmas and they leave one by one after Christmas eve and this day the last one goes.
